The power distribution box is located in the engine compartment.
The upfitter option package includes four switches located in the center of the instrument panel. These switches will function only when the ignition is turned on, regardless of whether the engine is running. However, it is advisable to keep the engine running to ensure battery charge is maintained during prolonged use or when drawing higher current. This recommendation is particularly crucial for vehicles equipped with diesel engines, as glow plugs also consume battery power while the ignition key remains in the on position.
When activated, they deliver 8 amps, 12 amps, or 20 amps of electrical power from the battery for various personal or commercial applications.
A relay box will be positioned at the driver’s side end of the instrument panel. Please consult your authorized dealer for assistance. Additionally, there will be a power lead for each switch, presented as a blunt-cut and sealed wire situated beneath the instrument panel, to the left of the steering column.
