Which fuses protect the cigar lighter and power outlet in the Toyota Prius?
In the Toyota Prius, the interior cigar lighter and auxiliary power outlet are protected by two fuses located in the Instrument Panel Fuse Box:
Fuse #1, labeled “CIG” – serves the cigar lighter (cigarette socket). Fuse #3, labeled “PWR OUTLET” – covers the 12 V auxiliary power outlet.
If the cigarette lighter or power outlet stops working, inspect these fuses and replace any blown fuse with the correct amperage rating indicated in your owner’s manual.
